If you feel like upgrading, get another 7950 and put them in crossfire, then you could get awesome performance without breaking the bank. Two 7950's in crossfire outperform the 680 and hence i think it can easily run the next gen games at max for around 2 more years. I do not see a point in throwing such a good card and getting a new card when you can get another 7950 and put them in crossfire and get some really awesome performance.
The performance would be something in between the 680 and the 780. And considering that both are powerful enough to run next gen games at max for around 2 more years. I do not see two 7950's getting old anyday soon..
Better just get another 7950 and put them in crossfire.
Would the 7950 i bought support crossfire?
ofcourse, it can support it. It should not be a problem, just get the same graphics card as you already have on your rig and i cannot see it having any problem if there is an empty graphics card slot on your motherboard.
Just tell me what motherboard and graphics card model you have?
