My computer has a gigabyte ga-990xa-ud3 mother board with a amd fx processor. It also has a GeForce GT520 graphics card and Corsair Vengeance 32 GB ram. So now the problem, I was working on it and the computer froze. I waited for over thirty minutes before holding the power button down to shut it off. It went off just fine. I go to start it back up and the monitor will not come on. The fans kick on, the led's kick on. I also notice that the keyboard lights do not come on, the mouse light blinks twice after running for about thirty seconds and then it stays off. I unpluged it and let it sit for a bit because this has worked in the past but no luck this time. I did read the steps to perform before posting and tried every one and double checked all the connections, even though the computer has been running since September with little problems. Any help would be great. Thank you in advance.

Sounds like you have a dead motherboard.

A little update, I was able to get it to start back up but now when I launch any internet, firefox, chrome, explorer, it shuts down. Starts back up just fine. So far those are the only programs I have found that make it do that. I have uninstalled all three and reinstalled them and same result. After online for a few minutes it shuts down the computer, no warning just down.

Web browsing causing shutdowns sounds really odd. Never heard of that before.
