Need display port to SLI on single GTX780 ?

I'm currently looking at the Acer H236HLbid for about 160$ great IPS monitor with no boarder! But it does not have a display port. I plan on eventually buying another GTX 780 but time being I'll only have a single card set up. Do I need a display port Inorder to play games on 3 monitor set ups? Than you

I believe you can mix and match. It shouldn't matter if you have hdmi, displayport, or dvi.
