Other than the CPU and MOBO, other parts and manufacturers are subject to change given what deals I come across.

This is my first build in 10 years, so I'm looking for any thoughts or comments. $1,000 is the most I'm willing to spend for the full build, but I'm also considering settling on a complete budget build for $500 as I'm not too neurotic about performance so long as the system can get the job done with current gen games (i.e., if the difference between 45 FPS and 60 FPS is $500, then the extra cash may not be worth it to me).

I'll mostly be playing MMORPG's and some FPS's (I'm addicted to killing zombies in COD) and I want to check out Planetside 2.

Thank ya.

Suppose I downgraded the CPU to a Core i3 or an FX 6300 to move cash into the GPU, would I run into any issues (bottleneck) with a HD 7950 or GTX 670?
