open the case and take a look what it says on the sticker on the side of the psu. It should list the wattages (and/or amps) for different rails and the 12V rail(s) is the most important one since all power hungry stuff uses the 12V these days.

Well thats exactly the gpu i wanted, 650 Ti but it requires a 24 amp psu i think and a 6 pin connector, will that work on my psu, 500 watt 14 amp psu?

and 12V2 is 13 amps, too bad it doesnt say what the combined max is, because usually it is less than the rails combined...
anyhow, 27 amps at 12V would be 324watts, and the max wattage on the minor rails is listed at 120W, peak output at 500W, so the numbers dont quite add up...

you might be able to run the 650ti boost just fine though, since the card peaks out at 120W

edit the 650ti is around 95W, so yes

you can use a molex-to-pcie adapter, usually comes with the card

molex has been the most common power connector on the psus for decades, every one has bunch of them. :D
thou these days it is not so important anymore with sata drives and pcie power plugs, but it still can be found on every new psu as well

What other hardware do You have?

No name PSUs can be a pain in the ass, You never know.. If it is possible You could get a descent 450-500W branded PSU.

1HDD,1DVD, that's OK. What is CPU brand, memorory, DDR3 or 2 how many sticks? Do You have any additional fans? maybe You could photo contents of the box?

I'd say you're good to go, the cpu is quite low power one wattage wise and anything else isn't using much power either. You might be a little cpu bottlenecked in some cases but not too badly...

+1 to last entry

An if You'll be low on power You'll see this, reboots or shutdowns can occur when system is loaded. PSU can get hot.

But it should be OK.
