about Seagate hard disk

i have Seagate Hard disk.. model no. is ST2000DL003.. the problem is..its not working.. some people says that the motherboard of hardisk is damage.. i'm worried about my data.. can you please help me.. what will i do..or you do..??

Is it detected by the bios?
Can you feel it spinning / vibrating when its powered on?
