what about hte classic question, nvidia or amd? i love the xfx double dissipation 7870. but the 660's are hard to beat. oh and i liked the asus but it has some bad reviews, i guess thats inevitable with something that has lots of reviews.

awesome :D and i just realized that the 760 came out to....might wait for a better amazon price but idk if its worth the wait. your thoughts? (sorry for all the mumbling just trying to get the best out of my money) and would it be overkill on a i5 3570k? (the 760 that is)

760 and 660 both are toms recomended cards for $250 and $200 respectively

So now its up to u if u can increase ur budget by $50 u will get 20-25% more performance

The GTX 760, will be a great GPU for you, worth going over the limit $50, it includes GPU Boost 2.0, because it is a part of the 700 series of GPUs. GPU Boost 2.0 basically overclocks itself when it is a certain temperature, which means if you keep it cool you will get better performance overall, like the Gigabyte Windforce edition will keep it very cool and get the FPS in games almost like the 670, which is $100 more. Also, the 760 is geared for the next generations of games, because nvidia has teased it will go well with Battlefield 4 and Call Of Duty: Ghost. This is worth going over by $50.
