Hey there,
I have recently decided to sell some components that I no longer have use for. They are extremely new and have been used for less than 2 months in total.

I am asking for some advice on what to price them at, as I have no idea how much to take off the price which they are selling for now.

I have:
An AMD FX-8150 CPU (black edition)
Biostar TA990FXE motherboard
Powercolor HD7870GHz Edition

I am struggling to price the graphics card especially as it has been discontinued. It is this card: http://www.powercolor.com/Global/products_features.asp?...

Any help would be very much appreciated as I am struggling to find people to buy it, but I also don't want to get ripped off in the process as I have already recieved an offer for the graphics card of £80

Cheers
Adam

I'd say the best you can hope for is 60 - 80% of the cost. With second hand components people are weary because well, there is no warranty, so you basically have to sweeten the pot with a lowish price or you'll be stuck with them. Saying that of course why don't you just build another PC for yourself with them, you're more than half way there anyway, no?

Take the £80 for the card and let me know the least you want for the board and CPU. I may well be interested in those two only.

PM me if you prefer to keep it private.

On e-Bay UK this morning, the chip should fetch a hundred quid and the board £95 as new parts. Maybe WAD's suggestion of knocking $35 (£28) off that £195 isn't a bad idea.
