yes, it could run but it might not be powerful enough to maximize the usage of your 120hz monitor. for 720p. it might be enough assuming your cpu doesnt bottleneck. for 1080p, you should get atleast an hd7850 to get a good perforance.

It will support 120hz through one of the DVI-D connectors, though with AMD, they usually only have one dual link DVI-D, so you might have to try both. It should also support 120hz through displayport.

so you think the benq xl2420t 120hz will be a good match to my gigabyte radeon 7770 hd and it will run at 120hz?
i want to be sure becuase its an expencive monitor and i can barely afford it

If you play at low to medium settings, or older games, you could, but most recent games, you lack the GPU power, and even CPU power with the more demanding games (nothing can get 120 FPS on some newer games).

So if i understand you correctly, assuming i want to play at high settings in new games my gigabyte radeon 7770 will not be powerfull inaf to run new games at high settings.
you think i should buy a more powerful graphic card or it wont help becouse my other componnets like the motherboard or proccesor also not powerful inaf?

If your goal is high settings and near 120 FPS, you need more power. Like 770 SLI strong.

So i probably will buy a new graphic card, beside that you think the intel core i7 3770k 3.5ghz 8mb l3 cache s1155 is strong inaf to support high settings games or 3D games?
tnx.

It is plenty capable. It would do even better with an aftermarket cooler and some overclocking.

bystander you the man, finally i have some conclusions what to do.
i think i will delay a bit the buying of the benq monitor because i need to upgrade my graphic card first.

thanks a lot.
