Hey, so I'm looking to put together a gaming build for a friend. I'm looking for a build of around a £1000 (1490 US dollars). He won't be overclocking at all and would prefer to stick with nividia and intel. Furthermore, we want to do a single GPU setup with the possibilty of doing SLI somewhere down the line. He's already got a monitor, keyboard and mouse. This is what I have so far and I would like some community input espcially as it seems that the UK prices only differ in the symbol before the number.

GPU: EVGA GTX 770 SC

CPU: Intel i5 4670K

Case: Cooler Master Storm Scout II

Ram: Corsair Vengeance (2x 4Gb)

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 rpm 6Gb/s

SDD: Crucial M500 120Gb

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87X UDH3

PSU: 750W Seasonic X-Series SS-750KM3

OS: Windows 7 Home premium

Optical drive: LiteOn DL-8ATSH

CPU Cooler: Phanteks PH-TC14PE_BK Premium Edition Black

Any help would be greatly appreciated in bringing the price down. If I were to buy this all from scan. co. uk it would cost £1263.43, naturally I wont buy everything from one site but that's more of a indication.

Hey of not ocing then go with i5-4570 cpu and a h87 chipset mobo.
You don't need sli with gtx 770. It is single enough for play every game on high settings on 1080p monitor so go down ur psu too to 550w- 650w psu. But check it first haswell certified.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.

Thanks for the input. I was thinking more about having the possibility availble to go sli later on, that's why I'd rather invest now in a system that has the option instead of also then having to upgrade the psu and so on.

First thing you will never need sli in future 2-3 years with gtx 770 on 1080p monitor.
But if you want option to sli with ur psu then lower down your hdd to 500gb and also ssd to 60gb.
Hope it helps.
Thank you.
