Hey guys so I'm getting deployed overseas in the upcoming months and have decided to sell my gaming PC before the value is totally lost. I'm not sure how much this is worth at the moment but it has to be at least worth $950? Here are my specs:

CPU:i5-3570k with Hyper 212
GPU: PNY GTX 680 2GB
MOBO: Gigabyte z77X-UD5H
RAM: 8GB 2400mHz
Wifi Card
Case: NZXT Source 210 Black
PSU: CX430 (Can throw in my 500w PSU if you would like)
SSD: 120Gb Samsung 840
HDD: 1TB Western Digital Caviar black 7200rpm

I will be posting pictures as SOON as I can (I read the forum rules)

I can ship it with original boxes or maybe even take it apart and then place it in its original boxes and ship it inside of the box with the case? Idk if your interested we can work out how to make shipping less of a hassle. Thanks for reading and have a nice day guys

Once i get pictures up I would also trade for a decent gaming laptop that I could lug around. We would have to ship the items on the same date to be fair though

i would be interested in the whole system, but the price is a bit too high

Here, I put the parts together on PCPartPicker for you. It shows their current market value. Wasn't sure about the Wifi adapter, so I just picked the most popular one. Wasn't sure what RAM you have either:

So it's current market value is around $1200.

Thats brand new, and didnt some new cards come out?
July 7, 2013 9:26:19 AM

That is NOT market value since they are not current parts. z77 is outdated, but the prices are the same so it doesn;t reflect actual market value

July 7, 2013 9:29:03 AM

3570k are worth $150, 680s are worth $300, motherboard is worth $100, 2400mhz ram can be found new for $60
July 7, 2013 9:30:15 AM

let me post pictures and we can talk about it more

I only have 1 camera which i let my brother use for a church activity today. When he gives it back to me I will update ASAP
July 7, 2013 10:18:19 AM

What would you call the prices online retailers list them at then?

And I wouldn't call Z77/1150 outdated. Many people, including me, are still using it in new builds. Haswell isn't a big step forward.
July 7, 2013 10:23:30 AM

Dude this is a used system. I am using prices for what these parts go for USED.
July 7, 2013 10:24:19 AM

Hasell may be a marginal upgrade. But z87 is a prettu big one. Also 600 seies cards are outdated

Okay, I never said your prices weren't for used parts lol.

And I only consider something outdated when it is not in use/effective anymore. I believe that is what the definition is. Plenty of people are still using Z77/1150 and the 600 series cards which are still effective.
July 7, 2013 10:36:21 AM

What i am saying is, a 3570k isn't worth what it is jew anymore. Not worth $230 new
July 7, 2013 10:42:03 AM

I would really like at least 800 shipped. $700 is pretty low man. shipping will probably be $50 or so alone. I wont ship this international either btw...
July 7, 2013 12:28:14 PM

Where is it being shipped from?
July 7, 2013 2:07:45 PM

Im stationed in southern florida at the moment. Pics will be up tonight guys

What kind of PSU is the 500w? I don't feel comfortable with an overclocked i5 and 680 on 400 watts.
July 7, 2013 5:37:56 PM

Pictures only came out nice with a flash and when i used flash the paper came out all white sorry.

the 500w psu is a Rosewill psu that i used for a weaker build. I never used it because the cables were not long enough to be routed through the back of the motherboard. Also that PSU is not 85+

the 430m works fantastic, my cpu is C&E (turbo boosted) to 4.5GHZ so its not a steady overclock but even with Prime95 stress test the CPU never got over 68 degrees. The CX430 is fantastic and has been a pleasure to use even with a system as demanding as this one shown

pictures posted, lets talk BUMP
July 7, 2013 9:16:15 PM

they look good.
my friend is hesitant to spend $800 but i think i'll be able to convince him
July 7, 2013 9:18:13 PM

That's no problem just keep me updated
July 7, 2013 9:54:19 PM

you couldn't do 750?
July 7, 2013 9:55:49 PM

800 is pushing it to be honest, the problem is that PayPal dips into the 750 and shipping is $50 if not more. I'm not trying to be hard about it, hope you can understand
July 7, 2013 9:57:28 PM

of course. $800 IS a fair price i just dont know if my friend has 800
July 7, 2013 10:00:49 PM

its fine, if he does come up with the extra money just let me know
July 8, 2013 7:55:17 AM

I don't ever sell items online so it's hard for me to come up with some type of feedback. I'm genuinely surprised I have gotten an offer already to be honest.

Also whats the difference if he sends the money as a "gift"?

There's no fee deduction from PayPal if he sends as a gift, but you're less protected as well.

You will have less seller protection. A shipping label/tracking number won't be needed because it's a gift, therefore PayPal has no way of knowing if it gets delivered to the person or not. And since it's a gift, PayPal doesn't know there's an item going along with it or not, since you could just be sending a friend money. There was something else as well, but I can't recall it atm. I just know it's better to send it as a payment and take the fee, or just use another payment method besides PayPal.

Oh, that doesnt seem too promising. Rather just suck it up and loose the percent that they take out.

Yeah. The fee is 2.9% + $0.30 for each transaction. So if you sold your computer for $800, it would be $23.20 + $0.30 = $23.50. Not too bad imo, but it is a slight money drainer.
July 8, 2013 9:04:35 AM

Not bad but then remember to ship this computer will be at least $50 or more. I really hope shipping doesnt kill my wallet :(
July 8, 2013 10:18:53 AM

If anyone who is interested in buying this can put together a computer I can ship all the parts on original box INSIDE of the computer case and use the computer case box to ship it in. Just for better protection of the components
July 8, 2013 3:17:20 PM

Feel free to PM me if your interested!
July 8, 2013 5:12:49 PM

if i can sell my current laptops and desktop i might be able to buy it.

July 8, 2013 6:46:02 PM
