Upgrading from Phenom x4 965(non BE) to AMD or intel?

Hey guys im currently debating whether or not to invest in a new intel cpu or a AMD bulldozer cpu. The primary use is gaming related. Im looking for the best performance with minimal overclocking use. Im leaning towards the 3570k but seeing as i dont really want to overclock is it worth it?

My budget is around 300$ for both a CPU and a new MOBO for it. I do not have a Microcenter around me. I can probably manage a little bit above that limit but not much. Either way im open to suggestions.

3570K and ASRock H77 Pro 4, totals just under $300 at the Egg

After looking at the reviews for the ASRock H77 Pro 4 im not so impressed. Seems like alot of people have problems with it. Any other suggestions?

Currently im using the ASUS M4A79XTD EVO with only AM3 CPU support.
