Questions about working out

For beginner lifters, how many sets/reps to increase size and strength?

Is there something wrong if you can feel the results of your workouts, but can't see them?

How do I even out my body, for instance if one arm is slightly stronger than the other?

Thanks for replies. If I have more questions, I will post them.

Different 'hardware' forum mate. Hahaha.

If you work out too much the lactic acid in your arms may actually be eating the muscle growth though.

Lactic acid helps muscle growth, doesn't "eat" it. And if you workout too much, you overtrain.

I think people tend to do 2-4 sets tops, as for reps, if your looking to gain, between 7-10, If you reach ten, on your first set, just knock the weight up a little bit.

No, you'll defo feel it before you see it :)

Kinda always happens with everyone, if you can do 8 reps with your right, and only 5 with your left, just help it out a little, with your right, just enough so you can do the last couple of reps.

Dont start swinging it about forcing it, you'll only injure an already stretched muscle.

Try P90X, with the weights, you do 2 sets of everything.. good program if you dont mind following it through
