NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT freezing

NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT would freeze when installing the driver
I have;
Operating System
Microsoft Windows XP Professional 32-bit SP3
CPU
Intel Pentium D 820
RAM
1.00GB Single-Channel DDR2 @ 267MHz (4-4-4-11)
Motherboard
Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. VM900M (Socket 775)


Im not sure if the video card is compatible, I also tried to download the latest driver at nvdia site, but still the same

No offence, but even that card is advanced for that system. there is a system wide bottleneck on that card.
