get the 650 ti boost as amd cards is a little hotter than the nvidia ones. also, the 650ti boost is faster than the hd 7770 and has PhysX and CUDA cores and newer

no, it's just factory overclocked, if you manually overclocked it then that's the time that it will be hotter than usual.
