I accidentally transferred my entire c drive to my external hard drive - I tried copying the files back to my laptop but I still get messages that my computer and other programs are searching for the 'e drive and i get the message that the e drive is not available/may have moved...
How do I get my computer back to normal?? (c drive operating properly)

I need help!!

First off I don't know what you mean by "transferred the C drive"? What exactly was the process in which you did this? What exactly does the pc do on a dead boot from power on? Do you hear beeps? What do you see, do you see the bios screen or anything from windows? What kind of pc is it, is it custom, what are the components or model number if production pc? What was the process in which you "tried copying the files back" exactly? Need more info in order for anyone to help.
