Just wondering what kind of ram 1600mhz ram (optomized for gaming) to get for this cpu because apparently the ram I chose has too high of a voltage lol

Thanks in advance

What Haswell, what mobo? The K model haswells will basically take anything you throw at them (up to 4 sticks anyway)....would suggest sticking to 1.5 voltage sticks through 1866, if getting 2133 or higher DRAM then 1.65 is fine

You grabbed my vote early on a good rig 4670K/EVO/EX4 and the DRAM, I don't see a thing wrong with your selections, you obviously put some time into it, so Congrats, think you'll be well pleased with this rig

i've been thinking about this for the past couple of weeks and posting as many questions as i could on here to make my decisions because you most likely know that i haven't made a computer in my life. will all of these be okay within the next couple of months because i still need to save up for everything. i'm only 19 lol

Be lucky you're living now. When I was 19 I had a pentium iii 550

I'm a dinosaur ;) 55, started with big iron in 1980, got hooked on PCs with the 286s digging through the memory maps to find an extra few K to make available to the system, like the believe it was 8K reserved for RGB video when you were running VGA - all kinds of junk, a lot of times I'm surprised at all I do remember - not many out here have prob ever seen coax ethernet cables that look like a garden hose ;)
