Recently my nVidia Quadro FX580 has sent is soul to the creator. In a hurry (I have to keep working) I've changed the card to a nVidia GeForce 210 and got the same errors as before with the Quadro (yes, I've uninstalled everything and reinstalled with no success). I then tried with an AMD Radeon HD5450 and I'm having good results (slow, but at least works). Now I'm considering a new graphics card to replace the Quadro and I'm looking to the ATI FirePro v4900. What's your opinion? (the software I use is AutoCAD, Civil3D, 3DS Max...).

Thanks,
guggas

The problem is that there is no nVidia Quadro card in that comparison with the price range of the AMD FirePro v4900. Also, I'm beginning to think that a gamming card is best for my needs...

A firepro will be alright for what you need get the v4900 you looked at and you could or might be able to play in medium setting all games looking at the specs if u have quad core its a win win situation for you
