Trouble updating Bios

Hello all, new to the forum. Anyways what I'm having trouble with is updating my bios. I have an ECS A970m-A Deluxe mobo that I had purchased in march and haven't had any trouble with it despite all of the terrible reviews. Right now I'm running an Athlon 630 processor and just recently purchased a fx6300 to upgrade. According to ECS's website the board is compatible with the latest bios. I have the bios released on 9/24/12, the latest is 11/9/12. They have a software called eblu that downloads the new bios and updates it but when I run it I get an error code 3 when the software tries flashing the new bios. Any help or advice is appreciated.
