Mobo M5A78L-M/USB3 Factory Bios Version

Hi all!!

I'm thinking of buying the M5A78L-M/USB3 mobo and the FX 8350, according to the manufacturer's website, the CPU is supported for this mobo from BIOS version 1401. Which is the factory BIOS version that comes with this mobo??

It depends on the date when it was manufactured. It would come with the available BIOS version at that date. Will you buy it online or from a shop?

You can try contacting them and asking about the board's serial number (the first 2 letters stand for the manufacture date).
Another way to find the board's BIOS version is checking a barcode sticker on the motherboard. The last 4 digits on that sticker stand for the board's BIOS version.
A thrd way would be buying the board and if the BIOS version older than 1401, ordering a BIOS chip and replacing the board's one (it's on socket).
