could i use the 2 pin connector with the six pin to make an eight or do i have to get a whole new psu?

so im planning on getting the msi n760 graphics card, the card requires 1 six pin and 1 eight pin connector, however my psu has 2 six pin connectors and a 2pin connector. could i use the 2 pin connector with the six pin to make an eight or do i have to get a whole new psu?

I would say most likely you can join the 6 pin and two pin to make 8.
