I suggest you allow users to choose whether to track a thread or not. Presently, there seems to be no way to untrack a thread, nor is there a way to specify when replying to a thread whether you want to track it or not. Thus, my tracked threads page has many threads that are obviously dated, and whether specifying "show only unread threads" or not, it is a cluttered page that is difficult to wade through. I can see my "tracked threads" page in a year or two filled with posts that are obviously dated, and most of them, since I primarily comment on news threads, are of no further interest.

Ah well here is how you can stop tracking a thread -

This option is present on the very first post of any tracked thread.
