I've got a conundrum. I'm planning a gaming build for later this year. I want to put an SSD in it, but I also have a budget. It seems that I have two options:

    128GB SSD with a GTX 770 2GB
    256GB SSD with a GTX 760 4GB

I plan on hosting data on my old PC set up as a server/NAS on the network, so the SSD will be for the OS and games only. I primarily use Steam, so uninstalling unused games isn't a huge problem, but might become a cumbersome hassle. I'll be playing large games like Skyrim (11GB) plus mods, GTAIV (16GB) plus mods, BF3 maybe (25GB), etc.

I am well aware of dropping storage prices, which I'm keeping an eye on as time goes by, but I just want your opinion on my precarious situation. Any other advice regarding the GPUs (I don't want AMD) or SSD brand (Leaning toward the 840 Pro) is also welcome.

This seems like an appropriate section for this question. If it is not, please move it somewhere else.

GTX 770 and the 128 gb ssd. If it's only for os/ games (Of course this depends on how many games you will download), 128 gb is enough, and you will see a big performance difference between the 760 and the 770.

Go with the smaller SSD and the 770. The difference in performance between those two cards is substantial.

It depends on how many games you would like to be installed on your build at the same time. Battlefield 3 for example takes 22 GB space for its own...
I chose the "hybrid-way": 1 small SSD (only 60GB) for OS, 500GB HD for Games. If you would do similar, you could spend the rest of the bucks for the better GPU :D
