Can my motherboard use a Xeon processor?

I currently have a MSI p67a-g43 (B3) motherboard and I am trying to upgrade my processor from a i5-2500k to an Intel Xeon e3 1240 v2. Whenever I try to put the new processor in my computer just turns on and then shuts off right away. What do I do?
