So, I finally have decided to make/get a gaming specific pc. It will also serve double duty as netflix/multimedia in my room.

Games I have played
WoW
CS: Source
CS: GO
L4D
L4D 2
Various other Steam Games

Games I am currently playing
DoTa 2

I would ideally like to get it under 6, but my build came in at just over 6 (counting HDD and Power Supply.) I will also need an OS, unless I can find the old windows 7 install CD.

Requirements: Must be able to run DoTa on high, must be able to multitask music and playing.

Being able to multitask in between games is a must.

Please let me know if/what you would change on this build to cut cost/improve for less or similar $$. I would also not be opposed to another i5 3350p. But again, as close to 6 as I can get. Including or not including OS.

Would also not be opposed to buying something and adding a new GPU and more RAM or something. Again, just suggest.

Thanks.

So I changed up some things. I went one step down on the CPU and GPU and decided to get a better moboard that can over clock. Also got a different case and added windows 8. I think this package will have a better bang for the buck then the other setup. It will also run cooler and will take less power to run. This setup also allows me to add another 8+ GB of RAM whenever I feel like it. I'll have to you a crappy keyboard for a little. But that is ok for me. Thoughts?

This build comes in at $662 with 3 day shipping on newegg. I also figure that with this MoBo, I can upgrade my CPU to an 8320 at some point in the future.

Will do. For anyone that is interested. The above setup can be had for 662.82. Which I think is an amazing deal. Just make sure to package each item for extra savings.
