EVGA GTX 760 SC ACX Cooler Idling @ 45C with a ambient room temp of 25C.

I was expecting an idling temp of mid 30C. I've had a MSI GTX 460 OC verison idle at 34C in the same room at the same room temp. Fan profile is on and it is currently at 57% with a steady idling temp of 45C.

Is anyone else having such results with this card?

You could try creating a custom fan profile in MSI Afterburner. With a lot of these new cards the manufacturers set the fan speed super low to suppress noise

The thing is.. I've set the fan to MAX 100% for 3 full minutes and the idling temp was steady @ 41C did not get any lower.

What case are you running?

Factual design R4 nonwindowed. I have two intake fans in the front. Nh-d12p SE2 in push pull config. And one exhaust fan in the rear. There's a lot of airflow exiting. And the one of the top fan grill is open for hot air to rise out
