need to uninstall antivirus

I have AVG antivirus free and I can not understand its functioning. It has moved deamon tools lite, firefox to virus vault .When I restore it and run it again , it asks me to remove it. I am sick of it now.

If I will remove the antivirus, will the files detected by it also be removed. I want to buy a good antivirus suggest me that too.

And please suggest some way in which I can prove to AVG only once that every executable file is not a virus. Its functioning too.

Kaspersky in a very good AV.

Open up AVG and disable active/on access scanning, restore files from virus vault and then uninstall.
