Hi everyone. I haven't built a pc since the 90's as I became a Mac person (Still am I suppose). I'm looking to build a pc once again to be used primarily for playing Everquest Next (I may actually hold off on building it until more gets released about it). Additionally, I do a bit of photoshop stuff as well as some programming for modeling biological systems. I've been stalking this site and others for a few weeks now and have this tentatively put together:

So I'd love some input on these decisions. So here's my reasoning on this build so far and please correct me if I'm wrong.

CPU: Seems like the cheap choice to have a nice cpu when overclocked (I figure I'll try to get it to 4.5 and be content).
CPU cooler: Seems like most people love that one.
Motherboard: I know a lot of people suggest getting the extreme 4 however, do you all think I'd be fine with the pro3? I don't ever plan on going SLI, I just want it to be as reliable and for its OC'ing capabilities to be the same.
Memory: Just looking for reliable, quick, and low profile ram. Any other suggestions for low profile ram will be greatly appreciated.
HD's: Going to put the OS and apps on the ssd and the rest of my junk on the WD. Any suggestions going another way with the brands?
Graphics: I'm pretty sure I'm going to stick with the 760 as I don't think I'll need more than it. I read the gigabyte might stay the coolest so that's why I'm favoring that one.
Case: That Zalman case got good reviews on the site here (And is currently on sale). So I might pull the trigger on that sooner than later.
Optical: Just want a cheap bluray player
PSU: Not looking to break the bank here but would like something sufficient for this setup while oc'ing. This one seemed to have good reviews.

I've been very much out of the loop and would love some feedback or if anyone thinks anything is overkill/I could cut costs/I'm settling too much on a piece of hardware. Thanks in advance :)

So I'm just curious if anything looks glaringly terrible/incompatible. I was thinking of buying the case and the psu as they're both currently on sale:

Thoughts on pulling the trigger on these two tonight?
