Looking for: sub-$100 case without any front ports

Hello all,

I'm looking for a case that doesn't have any front ports at all. No USB, no Audio, nothing. I am hoping for a midtower case that will have room for the long video cards (going to do dual 7970s). I don't need that many hard drive bays or anything like that.

Anyone know of one?

Clean looking is really my focus. I could do with a nice covered door. This will be a gaming rig, and my keyboard already has the USB and audio on it.

One thing to note is that you may not have access to USB 3.0 if you're going to exclusively use the hub on your keyboard. Most keyboard hubs only support USB <=2.0.

I would like absolutely no front ports. Not on the top, not on the side, not inside the door (if there is one). I'm not certain on a door, if it makes it look better and cleaner, then yes, a door. I don't need a window in it, it makes it harder to hide cable management flubs.

I would also like it to be bottom-positioned PSU, and minimal 5.25, 3.5, and 2.5 inch bays. I am only going to have two SSDs for storage, a smaller for OS, and a larger for what I'm working with at the time. I need one bay for a bluray drive. And I need to be able to fit 2 AMD 7970s in it in CrossFire. Those are pretty much the big requirements.

I'm worried I might be too picky on this, but this is my first high budget PC. If I have to spend more than 100 on the case, so be it, but I'd like to not have to do so.

okay , so u want it compact and powerfull. and no front what so ever.

by the way , it puzzles me that even behind the door you dont want them, because you can simply not connect them at all . and if their cables bothers you , just remove the cables all together ..

I looked through Amazon and Newegg and didn't see any that simply didn't have front ports. I just think that they detract completely from the smooth look. If it has a door, that may not be such a big deal, but if it doesn't I absolutely don't want them. I need to find somewhere that has some on display, so I can look at some cases. I might have to just get a case with the front ports in it and just cut it out and fix a matching metal piece in place.

For what its worth..., i wanted something similar for a NAS and used the Fractal Core 1000, it does have side ports but they are barely noticable and there is no front opening. Its so minmalist its hard to even read 'fractal design' on the front. it's very small but should just take a 7970, best of all its only £24.99 /with free delivery from amazon.uk. i think thats around $36.00 (it doesn't feel that cheap at all and has a nice finish even on the inside) theres also the more expensive core 3000, infact anything by fractal is usually er, expressionless.

For those of you coming from Google or another search engine, the product originally asked for, which was a computer case with ABSOLUTELY NO FRONT PORTS (this includes side ports, top ports, etc), does not seem to exist on the market at this point (July 2013). Hopefully in the future, such as case may be available, even as a single specialty case.

For now, I'm looking at building a custom case to fit my needs. Thank you to all who contributed to this thread.
