hello i want to buy an fx8350 and i want to overclock it to 5ghz

what cpu cooler should i buy a seidon 240 or a nh d14?

If you want to take it to 5Ghz, it should only be possible with the water cooling. You should go for at least a H80i for taking that to 5Ghz. I do not believe that you could get to 5GHz without water cooling. With Air cooling i do not think that it might be possible. You should probably go water cooling. Hence get a H80i.

Yeah, definitely go for it. But make sure that you have enough space in your case to fit all that inside. The Seidon 240m should be awesome.

Oops!! Looks like that when you were starting this thread, you put this thread under the "Discussions" category rather than keeping it in the "Question" category.

To change the thread type follow these steps :
1. Go to the first post of the thread.
2. Click the button as mentioned in the pic below.



3. Then it will open a new page. Scroll Down ultil you see something like the one in the pic below and follow the steps shown in the pic.




I hope this tells you how to change the thread type.
