i there I'm looking to buy a photography tent to take pictures and videos of my parts/components of my pc build. this is what im thinking of buying

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/80x80x80cm...item33816d1192

will this be safe to place my parts on as its Nylon and i wouldn't want to damage my components with static, but at the same time i want some professional pictures to log for my thread and youtube channel.

or any way to reduce any risks when using a nylon photography box like this when taking pictures? i was thinking about putting on a piece of white wood or maybe connecting a ground to the box??? maybe i'm over thinking this and being paranoid lol but some feedback would be great if anyone knows.

any help would be much appreciated, cheers

That's a link to an old e-Bay sale which is no longer available. Is there a point in spending money on a few photographs, presumably of parts you've already bought and are about to install? All my life I generated static and could shock another person just be giving them small change.

When i built my first PC I used an anti-static wrist strap but I was still convinced it would explode on first contact but it never did, neither have any of the hundred or so I've built and sold since.

A tripod would enable you to take close-up photos without using a nylon tent but here's one that claims to be made of "chemical fibre".

These kind of tent are often quite small, so good luck with building a PC in it!

Static is often overrated. Modern PCs often deal with it quite well. If you are worried it might be wise to buy an anti-static wristband. This will resolve the problem - thats if theres one in the first place!

Good luck and try not to blow up! :)
