Hi, as the title says my desktop completely crashes after playing games. it seem's to happen when i get into action. i.e.. middle off a battle, i've read various forums and tried to piece bits together, anything i've done and attempted has had no effect, with regards to specs i'm not sure what you need, i'm a complete newbie to this sort off stuff, so any help would be gratefully received, thank you

The games i've run and that have crashed were, planetside 2, star trek and total war, i did not know how to do the fraps, i downloaded it and tried but no joy. i OC the CPU to 4GHz (%20) and tied that out, it seemed to work but then it crashed. with regards to a crash report, i dont get one, i have to hold down the power to manually shut down the PC, the screen goes black, "ctrl, alt and delete" does nothing

Ive not tried any other games what so ever, ive not had the PC long and recently brought it, i had to re install the graphics card and do the windows updates as the PC was wiped clean. the graphics card dont need updating according to device manager

sorry, i'm new to the computer speak, can you "dumb" it down.. i think what you want me to do is,
Un-install the drivers and software from the Radeon graphics card, then unattach it from the motherboard. then re-attach and re-download the drivers for the card? also what is meant by formatting?

i'm very great full that your taking your time out to help me
