Inbuilt Mic Stopped working (Laptop)

Title says it all.
I've tried reinstalling the Realtek HD Audio Driver, still no hope.

EDIT: Using Windows 7 Home Premium and it's an ASUS A53T Laptop

Do you have some audio/mic driver connected to it??Any peripherals??If that was not a long time ago try to restore your system before the mic was gone

I dont know what you mean. I have an inbuilt microphone and it suddenly stopped working so I decided to reinstall Realtek HD Audio.
I also tried a system restore but that didnt go back far enough.

I mean of you use a headset for example that has a mic and needs a driver, maybe they are in conflict.
