Thoughts on the iBUYPOWER Revolt R570

I'm trying to pick out my first gaming computer and stumbled across the iBUYPOWER Revolt R570. After reading a lot of mixed reviews I'm curious about what more experienced gamers think about it. I'm going off to college in a year and want a small, portable gaming PC capable of running Skyrim and upcoming titles (such as BF4). I'm open to alternatives as long as they are also small/portable and and hoping to only spend around $1000 or less. I know building is cheaper but my parents don't like the idea and unless they approve I lose major funding. I plan on purchasing the PC within a few weeks.

Its actually a decent gaming rig and the price is fair. Better than the usual junk that OEM builders (including iBuypower) usually put out.
