So I put my computer together a few years ago, and while I am definitely not upset with it, I am looking to upgrade it a little. I have had no issues running games on Max settings, until I let the Steam sale win and I downloaded The Witcher 2. I tried running it on Max and watched as my poor rig met it's match. I was wondering if you guys could help me figure out what is holding my rig back the most. I am assuming it's my Video Card, but I could certainly be wrong.
i5-2400 3.1 GHz Processor
8 GB DDR3 1600 RAM
EVGA GTX 560 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 Video Card
The rest of my setup I didn't think mattered to much, standard 7200 RPM hard drive, that kind of stuff, but if it does then please let me know. I plan on getting an H50 CPU Cooler regardless, my processor tends to get a little hot.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Also, any recommendations would also be appreciated.
