1 long, 2 short beeps.

I am getting the 1 long beep, 2 short beeps. There is no signal on the screen either. Which I have read is a Video (Mono/CGA Display Circuitry) issue?.


I thought it was the ram so I replaced both sticks, still nothing, tried with one, still nothing.

It has an in built graphics card, there is none added to it. Any suggestions? thank you!.

your motherboard manual says what the beeps mean.

If you have an HP pc it means that there's a problem with your video card. So try to change the graphics card with another one and see if it gets any better.

As I stated in my first post, I know what the beeping is, and its an on-board graphics card. So I was asking for any other suggestions please.

Wow what you are reading is older then dirt. (1980s)

Can you try one stick of RAM at a time? Do you have a video card installed?
