All other things equal, how much of an improvement did you experience after upgrading your SSD?

For those who've upgraded from an old or low end SSD to a new high end SSD, how big of an improvement did you feel? I'm leaving this question rather open because I'm looking for different user experiences.

I bought a Samsung 840 120GB on Sunday (at a great price :) ) but I did more reading today on the particular model and found that the write speeds are pretty "slow". I've been obsessing over benchmark numbers ever since. Will I actually notice a difference in system responsiveness if I exchange it for say a 840 Pro (or even the 250GB 840 model where the write speeds are roughly twice as fast). I'm using the drive to hold Windows 7 and other apps. There won't be much file transferring or working on large files happening.

Pretty much all SSDs are MUCH faster than any HDD. You will not notice too much of a difference between the 840 and the 840 PRO. The biggest difference between the old SSD's and the new SSD's is reliability. The new SSD's should last 7-10 years while the older ones only last 2-3. The 840 PRO is supposedly more reliable, so you should keep that in mind when you look at exchanging it out.
