So, I will be doing Gaming, Video Editing, and Live streaming and things like that, No matter what cpu i choose, i will be buying the ASUS SABERTOOTH Z77 LGA 1155 Motherboard, So when it comes down to it, im looking at the-
Intel Core i7-3770K- http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007SZ0EOW/ref=gno_cart_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
Or the
Intel Core i5-3570K- http://www.amazon.com/Intel-Core-i5-3570K-Quad-Core-Processor/dp/B007SZ0E1K/ref=sr_1_2?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1374341445&sr=1-2&keywords=intel+cpu+i5

I will be overclocking and throwing on a H60 or H80i, along with an eventual 770 sli setup, So is it worth it to pay the extra hundred for the i7?

Why are you going for the older LGA 1155 socket and the Z77 motherboard, better go for this newer LGA 1150 socket which should be better and more future upgradable. So this is the one you should go for :

(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

Thats funny, I love amd and have always leaned towards them, but since i have the money for a killer intel system, i wanted to see what it was like on the other side of things, the 8350 is still in my mind with the crosshair v formula z, but intel is leading the pack for the moment

I have an i7 4770k, and it's been performing brilliantly. It requires a 1150 Socket, which are similar prices to the 1155 boards anyway. Also for the higher end boards there is the Z87 Chipset to think about. Hope this helps.

The 8350 is a good CPU for the i7 4770K really kills it. I am sorry to say that since I too love AMD a lot because of their prices but that is the truth. Also the single threaded performance of the i7 4770K is the best you can get in the market right now and it kill the 8350 at stock speeds as well as when overclocked in almost everything. So the i7 4770K is what i would recommend.

I am a video editor, the 4770k is brilliant. I have has AMDs before and they weren't as good. But yes the 8350 is decent but not as good as the 4770k actually. The 8350 is better value though.
