I have been looking into some PC builds, and I have posted about different PC builds on these forums plenty of times, but I want a low cost PC build that will be able to play games like Minecraft, LoL, WoW, BF3 and maybe BF4, Left 4 Dead 2, GTA 4 and possibly GTA 5 when it comes out, Far Cry 3 and Blood Dragon, all the counter strike games, all half life and portal games, and DayZ, Arma 2 and 3, and both borderlands all on high settings or medium settings, my budget for this build is around $400 US dollars, excluding shipping and handling. I need the PC itself, mouse and keyboard and OS (Perferbly windows 7 Home Premium), I already have a HD Asus monitor from a friend, but I need the gaming rig to play on. Please help? This is my first PC build, I am only 14 but I know computer parts, and I have done my fair share of research on PC's, so I'm not a complete noob at it ;)

Some of the games that I could cut out, are BF3 and 4, Blood Dragon, and GTA 5 and Arma 3. Those are just games that would be fun to play, if possible, if not for the amount of money, I don't need to play them.

You really wont be able to get much with only $400, especially since your including the OS and keyboard/mouse within that price. So in reality, youv only got ~$275 to play with on the actual build, which is nowhere near sufficient for a gaming machine.

At that price-point, a next gen console is the better option.

$400 does not give you any room to build a gaming rig, personal computer for web browsing and browser based games. BF3 & 4 won't run on it, BF4 i believe will require the GTX 600 series for recommended specs. See if you can get the KY/Mouse from someone. Won't save much but every bit helps. I liveable a decent gaming rig needs a budget of at least like $600 or 700 total.

As manofchalk said, next gen console would be your best option.

manofchalk says you wont get a good pc for 400$ but who says maybe you cannot max out but play all graphically intensive games on high settings on 900p.
I am not including the monitor
CPU:amd athlon ii x4 750k
GPU:amd radeon hd 7770 ghz edition
DVD Drive:any
Mobo:MSI FM2-A75MA-E35
RAM:4 GB corsair vengeance
Psu:CX 450
HDD:WD Caviar BLUE 500 GB
Cabinet:NZXT gamma or source 210

^ You also didnt include the OS or keyboard/mouse.
Those are what really put the hurt on this case A $400 gaming rig is just possible if your not including OS or peripherals, but that's not how it is here.

For keyboard mouse microsoft's wired keyboard and mouse 500 costs less than 20$ and an you will have to increase your budget for an os.

This is excluding Tax/Shipping, you'd buy from different retailers ( cheaper). Unless you want to go through one retail, i.e Newegg, which will result in paying more. I believe that's everything -subhadeep082012- posted with the OS, m/BK added ( close to as possible anyways).
