I am planning to get a new notebook and I have a question related to its GPU. It is nVidia GeForce GT 740M and I found out that it is the newer but less powerful version based on the Kepler GK208. I’ll just add that the CPU is an i5-3230M (2.6 - 3.0GHz, 3MB cache). Here are some screenshots I found on the net:

I am not really familiar with those scores so I will let the conclusion to you.
So my question is: Will I be able to run GTA IV on medium settings? It is an old game but the fact that it was badly ported makes it a resource hungry monster. Based on my unprofessional comparison between my desktop 9600GT (which can run it) and the 740M GK208, I have the bad feeling that it won’t make it. Am I wrong? I really hope so
Regards
