Will a 200W PicoPSU suit this build?

I'm building a HTPC that will include the following components...

CPU: A10 6700 (I went for the 6700 as it uses much less wattage than the 6800K)
Motherboard: FM2 Mini ITX Motherboard
Ram: 8GB of DDR3 at 1800Mhz
HDD: 2.5" 7200RPM 500GB
GPU: Low Profile 7750
Disk Drive: Slim DVD Drive
Case: Mini ITX Case

I need to decide on the PSU, my problem is that the PSU must fit in the Mini ITX Case whilst also offering enough power for the specifications.

What do you advise?, The max size case I can use is about the same dimensions and an Xbox 360.

Thanks in advance.

Do you think a 200W PicoPSU would suit the specs, I used a PSU Calculator and it said minimum of 165W and recommended of 203W

Those PSU calculator are oriented to high end PSU, if you see the results always show PSUs like Corsair, Antex, XFX, Seasonic. In this case the PSU meets the wattage but we don't know if that wattage is real or not. The only way is that you test.

I think that system will fit the 200W power envelope but you should account for how much power the system will use when it's still booting up,as power use will be the highest and will tax the PSU more, than it will once it's idle on the desktop.

I've looked into your choice of parts and if you really want to use that 200W pico PSU,then I think you'll have to change your GPU a little (choose a HD7670 instead of HD7750) to create some breathing room for that PSU.

Or better yet, ditch that dGPU altogether as the iGPU of that CPU will be more than enough for general media use as you said it's an HTPC so you'll get both GPU and CPU for 65W which'll save you money and power. :)

Hope this helps.
