Is it OK to switch water cooler with cpu fan and heatsink

My computer came with a water cooler I don't think it's working anymore because my processor is overheating now is it OK to just switch it with a cpu fan and heatsink?

I would investigate the airflow and case fan situation first. And aircooler won't do any good in a sealed case or one with pisspoor airflow.

Will let yall know how it goes and the case and fans was the first thing I checked I recently bought the computer from craigslist he was selling it cheap because the video card was overheating but I checked it's the processor it went up to 200°f so I hope the cpu fan and heatsink works good bought one from eBay
