Hi,

I have been wondering what is the power consumption like of these two CPU's under normal usage loads i.e. not stressed out to the max to see the full load power draw.

When I say normal I mean activities like watching HD movies, Surfing, downloading etc.

I planning to get one of these along with a AMD 7870.
While I do plan to use it to play games mostly with some occasional 3D modeling and rendering, mostly it will run 24/7 with 80% of the time doing routinely activities like Surfing, downloading, watching HD movies etc.

Since these are not generally shown in a Review, I thought I would get an opinion of people who are already using these processors.

Thanks in advance.

Figuring out a PSU is not the problem I just wanted to know their Power Draw.
Also, I am not able to see the link

In the link below, it shows that when idle a PC with an i5-4670k consumes 79w of power vs 89w for the FX-8350 (unfortunately, there is no picture to post) when both are running at stock speed. The i5-4570's power consumption should be a little less than the i5-4670k. When the i5-4670 is OC'ed to 4.6GHz it consumes 98w of power when idling which is not too bad. However, when the FX-8350 is OC'ed to 4.8GHz the idle power consumption jumps to 154w.

Note: That is total system power, not just the CPU. Read the review to determine what the components are for the Intel and AMD build.
