I need internet to another room and its wifi vs powerline... i want to get the powerline internet adapter because it faster than wireless, the only problem is I'm scared that in a storm my PC will get fried because of a power surge that goes into the powerline adapter... can that happen? or do the adapters have surge protectors in them?:??:

(will be gaming a lot on the network so i need a fast, low ping solution if possible)
Thanks!

I will probably just get that ASUS wireless adapter. Thanks for the help! :D
