My CPU is:
AMD Athlon x2 270 3.4ghz dual core
8gb DDR3 RAM
500w PSU (not sure on brand)
I play League of Legends and I want to be able to stream and have high fps (80-100) without upgrading my CPU whilst playing in 1920x1080, all help is appreciated
I am looking at the Radeon HD6870, will this work?

Sorry typo. Yeah you shouldn't experience bad bottlenecking either wayThanks man, and thanks for not being a pleb about my lack of knowledge within computers, so you say get the 7790 > 6870 yeah?
Sure, less power usage and newer features (dx11.1) with the same performance

Thanks, is it still worth getting the 6870? Just I know someone who is selling it for cheap and I want to be able to use my PC asap haha

If you overclock your CPU to the absolute maximum, you can buy Radeon HD 7850! You are going to forget about overclocking the GPU with this processor and cross fingers that you'll be able to overclock your Athlon II X2 270 to a point, where HD 7850 won't be bottlenecked.

You can find a Radeon HD 7850 1 GB for around 125 euro.. At least that's how the prices in Bulgaria go! Radeon HD 7850 is as powerful as Radeon HD 6970, which is satisfying!

Is that compatible with my setup? And can you link me to one? I'm on my phone

Yes, of course it is compatible! There are many different versions of the card. Tell me the highest price you can give for the card, so I can choose you the best version for the price.

Does this - http://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-Radeon-PCI-Express-Graph... suit you? I know it's a bit over your budget, but if you can somehow get enough money for this version, you won't regret it! If you are definite that you don't have enough money for it, here's a cheaper version of the same card - http://www.amazon.com/HIS-GDDR5-PCI-E-Graphics-H785F2G2... !

Overclocking is never safe, keep in mind that you may damage or kill your CPU and other parts of the system. I was lucky enough to overclock my Intel Core i7-3770K to 5.0 GHz with a voltage of only 1.4 V without any issues!

I also recommend overclocking from the BIOS. It's the best way!

The BIOS scares me! Could you link me to a tutorial? I seen that you can get my processor to around 4.00ghz without overheating

I went and bought the 6870 as it was a bargain for how much i paid, but it only came with one 6 to 4 pin connector, do I need the second one?
