Gtx 770 frame rates low

Hi i recentely bought a gtx 770 evga acx superclocked, and i was looking at reviews and watching my friend who also has a 770 play battlefield 3, and i noticed he had between 80-100 frames at all times where as I have trouble staying at a solid 60 fps when the fights get intense.

My build is an i5-3570k
8gb DDR3 1600
1tb WB blue HDD
AsRock z77 Extreme3 mobo
680W psu
770 Evga acx superclocked

its normal i have got asus gtx770 when on caspian border when jet fired pods on me tank exploded my fps dipped to 26

Well it shouldn't be normal. My idea is that the current drivers 320.xx are the ones causing the trouble and I sure hope so
