New to this, so seeking guidance. Help appreciated.
The hard drive crashed; I'd like to replace it and install Win 7.
The drive's a Toshiba HDD2L01, a 2.5-inch SATA; 750 GB, 5400 RPM.
First question: Is it as simple as replacing the HD, booting up and installing Win 7?
Second question: If it is that simple, can I safely use a different 2.5-inch SATA (e.g. 1 TB, 7200 RPM)?
Thanks.
P.S. The old HD crashed, and no backup, so it'll be a fresh Win 7 installation; "reinstalling" in the headline should've been "installing."
