Connection problems with long CAT6 cable

I have a problem with linksys router "accepting" signal through a 30m long Cat6 cable. The router works fine with a shorter cable connection and my PC is able to pick up the signal directly from the long cable. I'm seeing vibrant internet signal on the router and just receiving messages in Chrome that network is not available when trying to use the router with long cable. Any clues to where start looking?

If the 30m cat6 is the only one you have used its possible the cable could be faulty. Cat6 is good for roughly up to 100m so actual size of your cable shold not be an issue.

I'm hoping that's not the answer. How could it be that it works on the direct hook-up while not on the modem? I'm thinking digital signals would be the same to both appliances and yet only on work..

Hmm I'm sorry I didnt see that it worked directly to the modem.. Thats strange
