Most temperature readings are accurate to around 5C. There really isnt much that can tell you exactly. CCC has a fairly good reading, but I would say use multiple monitoring software and average it out.
I would agree with Gam3r01, use other programs and if ur board came with software to monitor get a average going, even the bios temps will help, they will be higher than in OS but not alot
35 idle is a good temp to have. Under stress if you hit over 60 you want a new cooler, Im at 55C Under load with my stock cooler so I am going to replace my cooler.
Well..my motherboard went out..it used to idle at 27/28 and it only showed one reading..that was with the asus m5a97 r2.0..now i have a msi 970a something..but anyway..it seemed to went up a few degrees, maybe my thermal paste is to little or to much this time
Yeah either that, or the old board was/ new board is giving a slightly faulty reading. I have that board and I seems to make cpus slightly warmer, but that might just be my imagination.
yeah..idc thou because even 35 idle is still good and safe..on my old board it only went up 10 degrees at the most while gaming..so that would make 45 degree my temp during games now which is still safe.
