i5 3570k Questions

Hello everyone. I will be get the i5 3570k soon and I have a few questions about it. First off, the processor has a 3.8ghz turbo boost. Does that turbo boost need to be manually enabled or does it kick in automatically? Another question I have is do I need to go out and buy an expensive heatsink/water cooling system for this CPU? Thanks for your time in advance.

The turbo boost kicks in automatically and if you are going to overclock get a good aftermarket air cooler.

Thank you for the answers. But one more question though. I am a huge gamer so while I'm playing games such as battlefield 3 it will automatically kick in during gameplay correct?
